Photo by DONALD HANSEN I took this photo the other day after it had been raining. This male horned owl has been living in my backyard tree for several months. Lately there has been a female (much larger than a male) horned owl staying for long periods of time. I'm happy, because I can watch them flying for hours.

Photo by DONALD HANSEN Once the home of the Pimen Indians, Father Kino approached the Pimen settlement of Tumacacori in Jan. 1691. By 1701 the first part of the mission was built. Father Kino named and blessed the new mission "Cayetano de Tumacacori" This is a great place for a picnic, try it.
