March 4-11: 25th Tucson Winter Chamber Music Festival

The 25th Winter Chamber Music Festival will display the full range, skill and artistry of world-class musicians. The concert offers the opportunity to combine food and chamber music. March 10-11: Tucson Festival of Books
University of Arizona Mall
This two-day festival attracts more than 130,000 book-lovers to the UA Mall and nearby venues for exhibits, author presentations and panel discussions. Over 400 authors will participate in presentations and workshops.The event will take place from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. each day and is free to the public. March 17-18: Wa:k Pow Wow
Wa:k Village/San Xavier Mission, 1915 W. San Xavier Road.
Hosted by Southern Arizona’s Tohono O’odham Nation, categories include team dancing, drum contest, owl dance, inter-tribal dances and more. Gates will open at 10 a.m. The first ceremony opening will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday. Admission for adults costs $7; children cost $5; and children 6 and under are free.
