Aztecs hope Price is right

After placing 14th in the 2015 NJCAA National Tournament, the Pima Community College women’s golf team enters the 2016 season optimistically.

“This group of young ladies, is the best group I’ve ever had the privilege to coach,” head coach Rick Price said. “Maybe even program history.”

Key returnees include Cary Nelson and Casey Morinelli. Along with recruits Samantha Hacker and Desiree Holl from Sahuaro High School’s state champion team, they strive to extend Pima’s successes on the field.

Pima’s first match of the season will be against Imperial Valley on Feb. 6.
