The Pima Community College men’s basketball program will hold an Evaluation Day event at the West Campus gymnasium on May 4.
Registration will be from 1-2 p.m., and athletes will be evaluated from 2-5 p.m. The event is not a tryout, but rather an information-gathering opportunity for high school seniors and high school graduates who are interested in the program.
All participants must bring a physical obtained within the last year, their most recent school transcripts and a $25 check made out to “PCC Men’s Basketball,” along with the proper consent forms.

Golf tournament funds scholarships
The Pima Community College Foundation will hold its 22nd annual scholarship golf tournament on June 1 at Randolph Golf Course.
Proceeds from the event help PCC provide scholarships to qualifying students.
This year’s tournament will feature a first-ever “Aztec Challenge,” a competition for Pima employees to see which campus has the best golfers. A team may contain members from multiple campuses, but must choose one campus to represent.
There will also be raffles, competitions, trophies and prizes awarded. Each golfer will receive a golf shirt, range balls, a gift pack and lunch. Mulligans will be available for sale.
Cost is $85 for a single entry and $340 for a group of four or Aztec Challenge entry.
