As an addition to coffee and hookah, Espresso Art Cafe recently added a bar to its venue. Happy hour is daily from 3-7 p.m.

When coffee comes to mind, hookah doesn’t really follow. At Espresso Art, however, you can actually enjoy both at the same time.

This European-styled café located on University Boulevard is the spot for quick coffee stops or even for relaxing Thursday nights out.

My friend and I were looking for a place where we could talk and catch up, and he requested that we go to Espresso Art for a nice sit-down while we smoked some hookah.

It took one visit for me to find the location fascinating and super-convenient.

This coffee/tea lounge provides both a hangout spot and a place for studying.

The upstairs area consists of a quiet room reserved for studying. You’ll find most of the hookah smoking at the outside tables.

You can also revel in live music coming down University or simply enjoy some people-watching.

The staff is friendly and the overall atmosphere certainly lives up to its name. I would pick Espresso Art over Starbucks any day.

Espresso Art’s vibe is relaxing and the locally owned art is intriguing. I can never go wrong with a reasonable priced cup of coffee and adding on a quick hookah session.
