Pima Community College’s Northwest campus will host a parking lot Trunk o’ Treat on Oct. 27 from 5:30-8 p.m.
The campus will also partner with the YMCA to create a haunted house for all ages.

Cancer awareness walk Oct. 28
Downtown Campus will partner with Making Strides against Breast Cancer to host a breast cancer awareness walk on Oct. 28 at the Kino Sports Complex.
To register for the walk, go to makingstrideswalk.org/tucsonaz.
Participants will meet at 7 a.m. at the sports complex, near the ticket booth.

Athletics Hall of Fame deadline Oct. 31
The deadline for submitting nominations for the inaugural Aztecs Athletics Hall of Fame is Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.
The general public is encouraged to fill out the nomination form on the Pima Community College website.
The form includes the criteria for consideration of an athlete, coach, team, administrator, support staff or community member who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the PCC athletics program.
The first-ever Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on April 5, 2013 at the West Campus’ Aztec Gym.

Day of the Dead festival Nov. 1
Downtown Campus will host a Dia de los Muertos festival on Nov. 1 from 3-5 p.m. in the Amethyst Room, located in the student services building.
The event will feature live music, a puppet theater, paper art and sugar skull workshops, Day of the Dead exhibits and presentations on the customs of the holiday.
The event will also feature Day of the Dead art projects from students at Davis Bilingual School. The projects will be displayed for about a month, starting in late October. Students from the school will be visiting as part of the day’s events.
