‘Anything Goes’ sailing along

The Pima Community College production of the musical comedy “Anything Goes” runs through March 6 in the Proscenium Theatre at West Campus

The play features a crew set aboard the S.S. American, traveling from New York to London. Music and lyrics are by Cole Porter.

Actor Tashiana Holt plays Reno Sweeney, a former evangelist turned nightclub singer who performs with tap dancing “Angels.”

It is Holt’s second time performing the lead role of Sweeney. The first time was in a high school production at Flowing Wells.

Pima students play each role in the play. Other key cast members include Jesse Pickering as Billy Crocker, Lucas Rodriguez as Moonface Martin, Evan Warner as Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, Ashlynn McPherson as Jope Harcourt and Victoria Vega as Bonnie.
